Using Orbit

Does Orbit apply to jobs for me?

No. Orbit finds roles, drafts applications and plans your time, but it never submits an application or contacts an employer. You review every draft and send it yourself on the employer’s site.

What does the crew actually do?

Six Claude agents work as a team. The Orchestrator plans the mission. Scout pulls live roles from open feeds and ranks them. Analyst reads each job description and scores fit with evidence. Writer drafts a cover letter and answers using only facts from your CV. Guardian checks every claim against your CV and sends drafts back if anything is invented. Scheduler plans a 25-minute lock-in to review the results.

Can I try it without my own CV?

Yes. Go to the You tab and load the sample data, or start a mission with the fictional sample student. The sample is made up and contains no real person’s details.

Where do the internship listings come from?

From open sources: the public SimplifyJobs internship lists and employer job boards. Opening dates for roles that are not live yet are estimated from the last recruiting cycle and labelled as expected. Always check the employer’s own posting for the final details.

Is the fit score a prediction of whether I will get the job?

No. Fit scores and CV scores are heuristic guides to relevance and quality. They help you prioritise, but they do not predict hiring decisions.

How are lock-in minutes and XP counted?

The server times each lock-in. A lock-in counts once it reaches 5 minutes, and each focused minute earns 1 XP, up to 120 minutes per lock-in. Breaks are not counted. University and city leaderboards are opt-in and off by default.

How does Autopilot fill in application forms?

Queue roles, then open them in Orbit’s apply screen and tap Fill with my profile. Orbit fills the employer’s form from your profile and can attach your résumé file. Check every field, then press the site’s own submit button. Orbit never presses it for you. Some forms can’t be filled automatically: finish those by hand, or open the posting in Safari.

Subscriptions

What do Pro and Max cost?

Pro is $5.99 a month or $47.99 a year: up to 7 crew runs a week, night-shift scheduling and unlimited CV ratings (fair use: 30 a day). Max is $10.00 a month or $79.99 a year: up to 21 runs a week, more roles and priority models. Both start with a 14-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. In the App Store, Apple shows the price in your local currency before you confirm. See the Terms of Use for what each plan includes.

How do I cancel?

iPhone: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Orbit → Cancel Subscription (Apple’s guide). Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Web: email support@example.com from the address you used at checkout, and we will stop the renewal.

How do I restore my subscription on a new iPhone?

Sign in with the same Apple ID, open Orbit’s subscription screen and tap Restore Purchases.

Can I get a refund?

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. For web subscriptions, email us.

Privacy and data

Do I need an account?

No. Orbit creates an anonymous account automatically. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number.

What happens to my CV?

Your CV text goes to our server, which removes emails, phone numbers, links, postcodes and street addresses before anything is stored or sent to an AI model. Crew missions and CV ratings expire after 24 hours. Your profile and tracker stay on your iPhone. The Privacy Policy has the details.

How do I delete my data?

Lock-in data: open the Lock-in screen and choose Delete my focus data. On-device data: clear it from the You tab, or delete the app. Crew missions and CV ratings delete themselves after 24 hours. For anything else, email us.
