Orbit Crew · six Claude agents, one calm morning
While you sleep, Orbit’s agents scout live roles, read the real job descriptions and draft applications grounded in your CV, with every claim checked. In the morning you do one 25-minute lock-in to review and send. Nothing goes out without you.
The problem
Dozens of near-identical applications a season. Generic AI letters that invent experience a recruiter spots in seconds. Then the deadline creeps closer, the work gets put off, and the late nights start.
140 applications per graduate job
Institute of Student Employers, Student Recruitment Survey 2024 (Oct 2024)20 percent of recent graduates applied for more than 100 jobs
Prospects at Jisc, Early Careers Survey, 5,000 students and graduates (Jun 2026)46 percent have used AI to write a CV or cover letter
Prospects at Jisc, Early Careers Survey, 5,000 students and graduates (Jun 2026)The ISE named “the use of AI to speed up job applications” as one reason competition hit a record. More volume isn’t the answer. Better, true applications are.
Meet the crew
Each agent has one job, its own model and a clear handoff. When a step fails, the Orchestrator re-plans instead of guessing.
Plans the mission, sets the budget, re-plans when a step fails and writes your wrap-up.
Pulls live roles from open feeds (SimplifyJobs and employer job boards), then filters and ranks them.
Reads the real job description, scores fit with evidence quotes and flags eligibility.
Drafts the cover letter and answers using only facts from your CV, citing the line behind each one.
Verifies every claim against your CV, blocks fabrication, PII leaks and prompt injection, and sends drafts back for revision.
Builds a 25-minute lock-in at your peak focus window, sleep-aware, plus follow-up dates and a calendar file.
Handoffs, live
Illustrative walkthrough. Real runs stream the same event types live in the app, and fit scores are labelled heuristic relevance, never a chance of getting the job.
Night shift → morning lock-in
23:00
You sleep. The crew scouts live roles, reads every job description, drafts and verifies. Failed steps are retried or re-planned.
07:00
Approved packets are waiting, each with fit evidence, cited claims and anything the Guardian wants a human to look at.
09:30
Review, edit and send them yourself. The Scheduler picks your peak focus window and never books late at night.
From Meridian, Orbit’s sister app
Lock in by day. Recover by night.
The 25-minute lock-in and the sleep-aware scheduling come from Meridian, our focus and sleep app. No streaks, no guilt, nothing booked after dark.
Responsible by design
The rules are built into the crew, not bolted on afterwards. The Guardian has a veto, and you have the final say.
Orbit never sends an application or emails a recruiter on its own. You review and send everything in your lock-in.
The Guardian checks each sentence against a line of your CV. No source, no claim: it goes back to the Writer or to you.
Email, phone and address are stripped server-side before any model call. The crew works on what it needs, nothing more.
Mission data is deleted automatically after a day. Keep what you send; the rest disappears.
A 0–100 relevance score with quotes from the job description. Never presented as a chance of getting the job.
Descriptions are treated as data, not instructions, and screened for prompt injection before any agent acts on them.
Lock-ins are never scheduled late at night. Miss a morning and nothing nags you.
Roles come from open feeds such as SimplifyJobs and employer job boards. We do not scrape sites whose terms forbid it.
Live numbers
Straight from the Orbit backend. No projections, no rounding up. If nothing has run yet, we say so.
Measured mission, 15 Oct 2026: 48 s end to end, 4,192 live roles scanned, 5 of 5 applications approved on the first draft.

No. Orbit never submits an application or emails anyone by itself. The crew prepares everything overnight; you review, edit and send it yourself in your morning lock-in.
For universities & employers
Careers teams give every student Pro for free and see aggregate progress, never private drafts. Employers get fewer, truer applications, each one checked against a real CV.
